Design is utilizing materials and identifying the overlap of creativity and
practicality. It creates harmony as a means for evoking feelings within the observer through the development of an aesthetic cohesion of a space. Desire is an essential aspect of all types of creative processes, particularly in the process of design. Passion allows me to recognize the importance of filling volume in a creative way through inclusion and diversity. It also gives me the opportunity to view space from a unique perspective for positive change and memorable experiences.

New Project Highlights
New Project: Lyman High School - Cafeteria
The goal was to design a high-end biophilic environment for the existing main entrance of
Lyman High School, inspired by their mascot, to welcome students, faculty, alumni, visitors, etc. This design is completed in collaboration with Kristian Elbert, Associate Environmental Designer. The space is used as the cafeteria and a place for school and city meetings in Lyman, WY. The influence of nature is present throughout, from the existing skylight and trees to the custom logo laminates and wall graphics. The furniture selection highlights the blend of durability and aesthetics while encouraging socialization. The symbol of their mascot, the eagle, brings a sense of belonging and pride. The presence of ADA seating locations was implemented to provide accommodation.
New Project: Carl E. Gilbert Elementary School - Classroom
The goal was to create a classroom design with two furniture options for the new Carl E. Gilbert Elementary School in Buena Park, CA. This space was designed to have a simple, playful, and youthful style for children ages 3-8 while taking inspiration from their bear mascot and buzz words. This classroom was designed in collaboration with Andrew Straczynski, Associate Environmental Designer. The natural laminate selection and school spirit graphics create a welcoming environment. Both furniture layouts are adaptable, durable, age-appropriate, and comfortable to aesthetically encourage classroom learning in small group settings.
New Project: Waverly Central High School - Cafeteria
The goal was to renovate Waverly Central High School’s Cafeteria in Waverly, TN. The client requested a higher education/collegiate theme while incorporating elements of their school spirit. This design is completed in collaboration with Kayla Codina, Associate Environmental Designer. The natural laminate selection simplified graphics create a more mature, modern, and high-end feel. The furniture selection provides students, faculty, and visitors with an intimate and intentional environment to socialize. This is a space where community and belonging are fostered and encouraged. The finishes and custom elements withstand the high traffic space and also align with the aesthetic concept.

Next - Workplace
The goal of this project was to create a new and innovative research and development hub for the employees at NEXT in Boston, MA. This space is designed in collaboration with Anna Curry, fellow Interior Design Student. It is flexible and comfortable, offering choices in seating, finishes, and lighting, while also being adaptable to new advancements. A modern and sustainable design will enforce a clean and healthy environment. Branding and representation of the local area will provide a sense of community.
Zest - Coffee Shop
The goal was to design finishes and furnishings for Zest Coffee Shop in Stevens Point, WI. The client provided a solid color paint sample for the basis of the dining space design along with description words such as elegant, formal, organic, welcoming, and cultural.
Leeloo's Point - Boutique Hotel
The goal of this project was to create a high-end, eclectic, and intimate boutique hotel that highlights the importance of community through an existing building in Stevens Point, WI. Futuristic and elegant spaces based off the movie, The Fifth Element will provide people with an atmosphere to socialize and create memorable experiences. The universal design provides a unique comfort for all. A modern and sustainable design enhances a clean, healthy, and biophilic environment that connects humans to nature.
